Has anyone stayed at the Capricorn resort, or have any reliable feedback about it?

good grub...

We've heard it is very nice and private (great for honeymooning). However, if you want action, I don't think that's the right place.

my brother and his wife stayed at Capricorn last year when they came down to see us. They really enjoyed it and plan to make another visit in March. The grounds are super as is the service. I think you'll find it to your liking.

I would not consider it private.
Each evening, while sitting on your porch, you will be situated approximately 50-75 feet (depending on which "unit" you have) from all of the evenings diners.
It is one thing to enjoy a wonderful dining experience there...and quite another to stay there.

Thanks for all the feedback, everyone. I don't think we'll mind the "lack of action." No real desire to go to bars or any of that on our vacation. Also not sure the diners there in the evening will be a problem -- I hope we'll either be joining them, or be in SP trying out other restaurants. I wouldn't be happy if there's still a lot of noise after midnight, though.
