My husband loves seafood of any kind. Could someone recommend a restaurant which doesn't have to be fancy, that has fresh local fish in a reasonable price range.

Just about anywhere. Most of the restaurants have fresh snapper all the time. A suggestion would be Papi's, El Patio, Caliente, The Reef. You can check the menu before you go into a place. Fresh snapper and grouper are fantastic. Don't forget the conch ceveche, conch fritters and lobster if they are in season.

bobber is on the money again . almost any place in town will make you happy .I go each month and fish every day I take my fish to stained glass pub ,marie will make the filets any way you want. ,just great ..but your on a island with wonderful people that truly know how to cook fish ...just check how much is cost with fresh fish dinners as price does vary. ...go live the dream and enjoy

I have travelled all over the world and fish is my favorite. The fish I had in San Pedro is some of the finest anywhere. The things they do with Red Snapper & Grouper are fantastic. You can see the people from the restaurants down on the waterfront getting fresh fish as soon as it comes in & that will be on your plate in a matter of a few hours.I loved the way Carambas treated the Red Snapper & Rene is a teriffic host.
