Another thing we may be interested in is horseback riding. I saw a couple of posts about mainland jungle horseback trips and did a search which really peaked my interest. I would think seeing the jungle via horseback would be awesome, but would be interested in more than an hour riding which is all I could find so far, any current info on day trip horseback adventures ??

Hi Phyllis

You can try Banana Bank Lodge, a working horse farm near Belmopan, about a 50 minute drive from Belize City. John and Carolyn Carr are great people and have about 150 horses on their extensive property. Maybe they can accomodate you. or e-mail [email protected]
