Internet cafes are your cheapest at 50cents per minute.US One girl used her credit card and didn't realize she was spending $8.00 per minute. She rang up $500.00 in no time.Have fun!

So back to the original question...Does anyone know where you can buy calling cards on the island? (The internet cafe is not always the most convenient place to call from. Calling cards can be used from anywhere).

Anywhere there's a phone, yes. You won't find many phones. In hotels you'll probably pay a premium anyway. Go to the cafe.

Many US- or Europe- sourced calling cards are blocked by BTL, who have a very profitable monopoly going. I have several that I just can't use here.
