a 3mm suit would be just fine. I usually wear swim trunks and a t-shirt.

I usually just wear a swim suit or a skin for a little protection. My wife gets cold and usually wears a 1.5 mil.

Water temp should be around 79-80 I usually wear a heavy skin & vest or a 3 mill shorty with a thin skin, I don't like to get cold at the end of a dive

It all depends on personal tolerances and how much diving you intend to do. If you are just going to take a couple of dives, you'll probably be fine with a shorty.

I like a full 3mm suit and sometimes even wear something on my head. However, I dive multiple dives, multiple days.

Sincere question to all responders: Don't you guys find the dives that much more enjoyable when you aren't in the least bit chilled?

Thanks for advice -I'm with Seashell on not getting cold -- I'll bring my shortie and skin -- is there any problem with those biting critters - "sea lice" they called them in Fiji - my skin really protests to those little mites.

You should be OK in Feb but for future reference, you may want to look into the SafeSea product found here www.nidaria.com
