How is travel to AC in april? Plan on staying for 10 days with snorkel trips to hol chan & shark ray alley, mexico rocks, and a dive trip to the blue hole. How is the weather on AC in april?

We were there last April, and will be returning this year in April (17th - 24th). Was beautiful the whole time, nice trade wind, no bugs. We were warned of Pica Pica during that time and brought Sea Safe, but didn't need it. Enjoy !!

Pica Pica are marine organisms like jellyfish that are in the water certain times of the year that can get in your swim suit/dive gear and give you an itchy rash. We meet one woman who ran into some diving and had a rash on her neck where her wet suit ended. The sea safe does something to prevent the stings, but we didn't run into any on our snorkeling trips, no worries.
We would be me and my husband Ray, this will be our second trip to AC. Not really into fishing, sorry. We hope to do a couple of outings with Tulu and may throw in a line, but mostly into snorkeling, relaxing and tipping a few Belikins. A must for us - night snorkeling, really really cool !! Tulu's boat can take 4-5, and as with the fishing charter it can be cheaper with more people, so if your interested we should talk! Didn't meet anyone from the board last year so it would be fun to hook up for drinks.

phyllis I had planned on tracking down tulu when I get to AC for a few snorkeling trips to mexico rocks and of course hol chan and shark ray alley. I would definitely like to do some night snorkeling as well. if its cheaper with more people and you and the hubby wouldnt mind 2 others along for the trip then maybe we can split it.

Sounds good to me. Have you been to AC before?
And your 2 would be who? We are staying just north of town, so could meet at one of the places in town and see what's going on. I will note your e-mail address and contact you before we leave to set something up !!
