We are staying at the Palm House anyone have comments on this place? Also heard the Lions Club does a dinner fund raiser on Fri & Sat nights is it a good event? Check topic "What to pack" below on the Message Board. Money is very relative to what you do, and how you do it. Figure on it being like the States, in a city. Cash or Traveler's checks, either is fine.
Sorry, don't know the Palm House.

If you eat local, it is fairly cheap. Restaurants will vary to the extremes. How much you drink is usually a big one. Drink local rum or beer if you want to save money.

Lions Club barbque is usually a good choice, but not an event, usually just a pit in the street.

Monday Night - Mango's Joke Night with Barefoot Skinny (Good Food)

Tuesday - Eat at a good local restaurant, Caramba (Belizean) or Caliente (Mexican), or Jerk Pit (Jamacian)

Wednesday Night- Chicken Drop at Pier Lounge, Dennis Wolfe at Mango's, then Fido's, then Ladies Night at Wet Willy's

Friday Night - Hammock House or Casa Picasso for watermelon martinis, discos after Midnight

Saturday- Fido's, then discos

Sunday - BC's at noon, or take the Lady Sharon for snorkeling and hamburgers, then don't miss Hammock House for barbeque & Musician's jam session after 5:00pm
