A few simple questions please. 3 females arriving
on 4/21 thru 4/26.

1. What time does chicken drop start on Friday
nights at Spindrift?
2. What time and place is the BC's Sunday after-
noon Bar-B-Que?
3. Does Hammock House still have Sunday afternoon
jam session?

I know these questions have been asked in this
forum on a prior date but I could not find the
posts. Thanks for the help.

The chicken drop always used to be on Wednesday. Anyway it was in September, last I was there. I actually won the darn thing. Great fun. I think it started at either 6 or 6:30. They continue having rounds as long as people are buying tickets.

BC's Barbecue is at BC's. Not a very helpful answer. Right on the south edge of town, a few doors up from Ramon's, just south of Sunbreeze. I try and get there around noon. I understand they sometimes run out of food (at least some things) by 2pm.

Can't answer about Hammock House. I'm guessing they do though. Palapa Bar also has a Sunday afternoon jam session with Dennis Wolfe.

BC's BBQ starts at around 11 and runs until about 4, some food runs out fairly quickly (2ish) but you can usually get your second choice. Once noon hits you can expect to wait an hour for your meal, complainers will be summarily booed from the property ;-)

Hammock House Jam starts at 6 on Sunday and if it's anything last night it'll blow your mind. It's been a while since I've been to the jam as I usually spend Sunday afternoon at a secret location on the beach with close friends. This Sunday we decided to do something different and we hit the jackpot. Last night at the jam 16 singers from UNC's Cleffhangers ( http://www.clefhangers.com/ ) showed up and put on an impromptu A Cappella session that had the entire bar silenced, that was followed up by individual performances by members of this incredibly talented group.

I didn't catch their names but there was also a male/female blues due that just rocked the house, her voice was out of this world and his guitar playing was just smoking, his pipes were pretty hot as well. The whole night was one to go down in the books, every day just gets better and better down here. Joke Night at Mango's should be hopping tonight with even more talented musicians.

Is there any good music on the north end that we can get to easily from belizean shores? Or are we stuck out there in quiet solitude which still sounds pretty good to me.

robino,

Both Hammock House and Palapa are on the North side and are accessible by golf cart which you can rent from the office at Belizean Shores.
