All residents of Ambergris Caye.

Please remember the following:

Treat all water with chlorine (Chlorox,bleach,etc.) 1/2 teaspoon to every 5 gallons.

Use good handwashing, especially after doing anything out of doors and especially before eating.

Wash all fruits and vegetables thoroughly and use canned items when possible.

Do not let your children play outdoors in the mud puddles and areas of trash pile up.

Wear shoes!

Be careful when walking to look for boards with nails and sharp objects that can cut you like tin and glass.

Wear insect repellent when outside or all the time if possible.

Dispose of trash as neatly as possible, securely tied up.

All of these things will help protect you from the risks of disease.
Help keep you and your families safe!
