I am sure SeaDuced and other tour companies do the zip line tour as well. It's fairly new and may not be in their brochures yet. Just ask. The prices will all be about the same.

Roxanne, you can take a Discovery Scuba Course thru most of the Dive shops in AC. The cost is around $125 US per person, and the open water dive is at Hol Chan.

Phyllis&Ray, How can I get in contact with Tulu? I'd like to talk with him about a trip to the Mainland. Thanks, Karen

A discovery scuba course sounds perfect. I cant go to Belize without doing some sort of scuba diving. I will check with some of the dive shops and also with our hotel activities department. Thanks a bunch!

My boyfriend and I will be in AC May 1 and plan on doing the Resort Course also called Discovery Scuba. Sounds like alot of fun, I'm not sure how well I will be able to clear my ears so this is a good way to find out without going thru all the training and money.

We have only done snorkel trips around AC with Tulu, so I am not sure he is available for a mainland excursion, but you would have to ask him to find out for sure. His real name is Allan Villanueva, cell: 600-4582, home: 226-2287
(to call from the states 011-501-number)
We will probably just get in touch with him when we get there, he doesn't have e-mail.
I sent an e-mail to Tanisha tours about a cave tubing/zip line trip for April 19th - if anyone is going to be in town that week and might be interested, they will probably require a minimum of people and it's just my husband and I. Will post a new topic when I hear from them if we need to line something up ahead of time. 15 Sleeps and counting !!

Hey everyone, just got an email from Monkey Business regarding Zip Lining, their term - Aerial Trek. "Aerial Trek is the new tour in Belize! Feel like the king/queen of the jungle by sliding yourself through the rain forest hooked up with cables! Feel free like a bird! You are attached to the cables by a harness. Hard hats are available for your protection. You slide from about 10 ft to 15 ft distances from one platform to the other. The distance from the ground varies from 50 ft up to 90 ft. There are 7 platforms in total. The tour lasts for about 2 hours. 2 guides through the whole tour assist you.
Aerial Tour Combinations:
Aerial Tour and Cave Tubing $210.00US
Aerial Tour and Xunantunich $225.00US
Aerial Tour and Belize Zoo $200.00US
Aerial Tour and Cahal Pech $225.00US

Minimum 2 persons
*Includes: Round trip Airfare, full-guided tour, entrance fees, and lunch. Departs at
7:00 am and returns at 5:30 pm."

We just put a deposit down on full day trip for cave tubing & zip line thru Tanisha Tours for Tuesday April 19th. We picked Tuesday because there doesn't appear to be any cruise ships docked in Belize City that day smile
$175.00USD per person includes round trip air to the mainland, transportation to Jaguar Paw, all fees, lunch, beer, rum punch, soda and water. Can't wait!!

Phyllis&Ray, my girlfriend and I are very interested in the cave tubing/zip line tour on the 19th of Apr as well. Do you know how many people are allowed on each tour? We currently are waiting for a response from Tanisha, but seem to have quicker results from the threads. Thanks, LBI

P&R and LBI, Just wanted to pass along a new email I got from Tanisha. They corrected (I assume) their first email stating beer and rum punch being included in the Cave Tubing/Zip Line. I am now told from Almira that it is not. I have reservations for May 4 and will not cause me to cancel, not a big deal. Might want to shoot them an email if this is important to you. Please give me your feedback regarding the tour, I can't wait! Karen
