Re: medical supplies - 10/12/01 03:30 PM

Kim, I have a friend that sells for a pharmaceutical company that has some items she would donate. Do you have any more room in your luggage? I could also go get some items and get them to you before you leave but wanted to check to see if you have room. I am going to be leaving my office this afternoon for a week but can be reached at home - [email protected] Thanks, Sharolyn

Re: medical supplies - 10/13/01 10:09 PM

Hi: I have collected 40 pairs of childrens flip flops, some baby clothes and medical supplies - gauze bandages, scalpels iv sets, sterile gloves etc. In all about 60 pounds.
Where are you and can you take these too. I am also getting more from my church. I asked Goodwill for a 1,000 pound compressed pallet - but changed my mind on that - the clothes are picked over and I dont want to send junk to the Maya just because its free, so I bought a few blouses and skirts and shoes.

Jena, contact Rick and Sheri Frantz at the email posted in one of the messages above. They are leaving on the 30th of the month. I leave this Thursday. Don't know if you can get anything to me in time unless you live in Wichita, KS. But there are ways. Also, keep checking to see what is needed most. the needs can change as time goes by. Of course, money is always welcome and easiest to send. Get your church to have a bake sale and send the money. Collect cans, etc. Many options. Best wishes. Kim
