Just came from the Santa Elena Library. They need lots of things. But something manageable from this listserve and some of the others on Belize, might be a magazine subscription? I'm planning on getting three myself to donate, but if anybody wants to donate a magazine subscription, contact me offlist and I'll see that titles don't overlap. No sense in duplication. I already am supplying them with newspapers each weekend and also Backpackers Magazine.
They tell me they have had a free REPORTER newspaper for nearly nine years. They don't get the Belize Times for some strange reason. They do buy the Amandala out of petty cash.
Anyway, if you can spare the price of a magazine subscription, email me and I'll give you a title to subscribe too.
