Barn,

I just got your message.

All I can see in the phone book are these 2 numbers:

522 - 0376 or 509 - 2499

I do hope you'll be able to find out about your guests.

Another suggestion is to maybe try to contact the Blue Marlin Lodge: 520 - 5014.

Hope this helps.

Re: Disaster - 06/03/08 03:50 PM

Any word from MissLena and the village?
Posted By: belizegial

Re: Disaster - 06/03/08 03:54 PM

I was told Miss Lena is in the USA.

I have not heard any reports from Maya Center about any damage there.

A village just up from where I am was severely affected.

The urgent need is food, water, and food.

I am at the moment putting some stuff together that I have around my house to take to these people.

If anyone can help, it will be GREATLY appreciate.

Good to see the Belize Coast Guard making good use of the US-supplied inflatable boats.

Re: Disaster - 06/08/08 04:52 PM

from Katie Valk...

Our neighbors constructed a temporary crossway. Trucks have passed thru. Big up Albert Loewen, Barry Bowen, Eugene Zabaneh and others that contributed to the effort. More details after I get more info.

Anyone coming and can assist with school supplies, it will be helpful.

notebooks, pens, pencils, backpacks, etc.

Re: Disaster - 06/10/08 01:19 AM

If anyone has a truck & trailer & are close the Sittee River Village they could really use some help hauling off garbage before it becomes even more unhygienic than it already is.

A power washer would be a nice added bonus.
PM me if you need contact info
TIA
