The new edition of the Green Guide to Ambergris Caye looks great. Handy maps and some good information. Good job, Peter!

It does look nice, doesn't it. And the maps are the best I've ever seen of the island. And thanks to Pat for "helping out".

Does that Green Guide relate to Green Backs?

Lan

Did I forget to mention that Pat is really the major producer/writer -I cannot believe that I forgot to mention that.

How do I get a copy of the Green Guide, as I had a friend who visaited the island recently and she siad that she never heard of it before.

I saw a magazine called Belizean Destination, which looked OK. Is it better than that? Is it available free on line?

Go fish.

Will the Green Guide change its color in the future? I'm very partial to Purple!!

they are guide books about 6 inches square, pretty thick, with maps, information on the island, and ads and coupons for local businesses...

Marty,
This green guide.... Does the fact that it uses the word "green" in the title at all support a "green" environmental or conservation effort? Does it advertise eco-tourism? Does Green Reef have any coverage? I'm a bit confused.

Re: Green Guide Looking Good - 10/17/03 05:26 PM

Debbie, its just cause its green, and there have been green guides for other places, so its a known (by some) name.

it certainly promotes ecotourism, as most of the tours in the area fit under that description. its not green reef. pedro puts it together

Re: Green Guide Looking Good - 10/17/03 10:32 PM

Ah...... Thanks for the clarification. The word green is used in different circles, and I couldn't decide if it applied here. Good for Pedro!!! It looks like a winner.
