I'm leaving to Belize this wkend. I'll be in San Ignacio first, then fly to San Pedro from Municipal airport. Since my itinerary is still up in the air on my last day in San Ignacio (not sure whether to stop by the Zoo), I haven't yet booked my flight (Tropic Air) to/from San Pedro. Will it be any trouble if I just show up w/o reservation?

Another question - My flight back to the US leaves Belize Int' Airport at 12 noon. How much time do I need? Do I have to get to the airport at least 1.5 - 2 hrs before departure? What time should I leave San Pedro?

Shouldn't be trouble unless you want to go on the last flight out (which often sells out). I would try for a 3:30 PM flight and if you can't get on they will book you for 4:30 or 5:30.

last Feb. we had a 2:15 departure from Belize, we left S.P. at 12:00 and even though I confirmed the day before, our our flite left Belize Int' at 1:15, so yes I would leave at least 2 hrs. before sch. departure from S.P.
