Good news! Delta has announced it will boost service from Atlanta (ATL) to Belize City (BZE) from weekly to daily, beginning November 1, 2005. Service is on Boeing 738 jets.

Delta's daily flights between Atlanta and Belize, effective Nov. 1:

Flight Departs Arrives
1740 ATL at 11:30 a.m. BZE at 1:29 p.m.
1741 BZE at 2:45 p.m. ATL at 6:42 p.m.

This is great news. Competition with Continental on weekdays is much needed to get prices in line. If you want to travel on a Thursday to BZE from the U.S., you pay a $300 premium right now.
