OH MY GOD ARE YOU KIDDING ME

I just read the remarks about passports. Our passports are due to expire in March of 08 and we are going to Costa Maya Reef resort 2-16-08. I thought a passport was a passport?????

HELP!

Crazy but very true.

You still can make it if you (Quickly) find a US Post Office near you that can expedite your paperwork. The post office now has special locations that will handle all aspects of passport renewal (Photo's, application etc.) So it makes it easier, It cost a bit more (to expedite passport) but I got mine back within a couple of weeks. Belize Immigration most likely will not let you in the country if your passport is within 6 months of expiration. Good Luck, It is still possable if you hurry up

bec, I c you are in NY... there is a place there that will do. There aren't many in the US though! Thankfully there is one across the street from my bldg. I'll get my daughters in one day for $160US!

That 6 month rule was waived quite a while ago.
