Just booked tickets with AA for March 1 roundtrip tickets 238 US plus tax from Newark NJ to Belize City. Farewatcher with Travelocity. That is too cool, I was looking last week and they were almost 600 per ticket. If you live in NJ/NY area check it out. Dave
thanks Dave, will definately check it out!
Dave, did that include taxes and add-ons? We got a ticket for my daughter using airmiles because of the high fares, then once we go the reservations, the fares dropped over $200. I had the airmiles put back into our account and bought her a ticket, $400 RT from Reagan/Wash.DC. I think that was good, but yours is way better. Congrats on beating the gouging.
It ended up being 1,800 US for 5 tickets, all said and done, so figure 300 per ticket including everything.
Just booked last night direct with AA. What is your total travel duration time?
I do not have the sheet in front of me but we only have a 45 minute layover in Miami on the way to Belize, so about a 5 or 6 hour trip all total.
An excellent deal. I always use Travelocity Fare Watcher. In November, I went to Costa Rica from Sacramento for that price - can't beat it. A cool, free service.
one resource is
www.skyauction.com I've purchased 2 trips to brazil for 2 people for 2 weeks... 1800 bucks total. Also, 3 thai trips and 2 singapore trips.. all for 500 airfare.. being from the west coast ( portland ) air to belize is a bit more expensive, but I booked direct and had a total cost of 540 each.
If you live on the east coast, or south, skyauction has great deals to belize city.. check it out, it's always worked for me.
Do you get the sky miles from the likes of Travelocity, skyauction etc...?
Skyauction, Hotwire, etc do NOT earn FF miles.
au contraire... mon ami...
I've recieved every single FF Mile due to me on my skyauction flights.
ok, let me restate then - read the description closely. Many flights do not accrue FF miles. When in doubt ask them. I've usud Skyauction over a dozen times since the first came online as well and my itineraries never earned FF miles. (BOS/Quito Ecuador r/t air for $275, BOS/Cabo $115 being the best deals thus far.)
Does anyone have experience getting from Cancun to San Pedro by bus? Looks like I'll try to bus from Cancun to Chetumal, taxi to Corozal and fly Corozal to San Pedro. Having some trouble getting info for the bus part.
Get the shuttle from the airport to Playa del Carmen(approx an hour)
get a first class ticket at the bus station that you arrive at for Chetumal-if it is to late get a cheap hotel room there (around 30usd)-get a bus the next morning across the border and arrive in Corozal and then fly-see Tropic for schedule
durkid1---Take the advice from Pedro1.--!!!!!You can't go wrong.
USAir is having a good sale from the East Coast right now too. $335 from LaGuardia NYC, $431 from Boston & DC for example, including tax. Travel Mon - Thurs, no "travel by" date restrictions.
www.usair.com search by price, then choose dates form the little calendars that pop up.
that didn't last long - BOS/BZE now $910 plus when searching by proce!
Oh right it wasn't Boston. My Boston clients are flying from Manchester NH since BOS was so high. Try that.
Just checked MHT and it is $575 with tax for mid weeks dates...still not too bad
