e tickets

purchased tickets via skyauction and just have a locator number from them for the e-ticket. Am getting nervous as we are scheduled to fly down next week. Made these reservations for my whole family and will be in big trouble if I screw up! Any reassurance would be welcome! Thanks

What airline are you flying on?

Continental

You should be able to confirm with Continental via telephone. As long as Continental has reservations for you, all you need to show are your e-tickets.

all they sent me was the email with the code,will the airline and try and confirm it. Should I have an actual paper? thanks

Silly me, you said you just had the locator #. Travel agent at my firm confirmed all you need to do is call Continental and give locator # and they will direct you on, i.e. just show your i.d. at the airport.

What travel agent did you use that they just gave you a locator #?

didn't use a travel agent,just got on skyauctions website. Had seen other people on this board had used it before.

E tickets are no problem with US airlines. Your flight is there. Show them your passport at the check in line and they will see it in the computer.

Electronic tickets are wonderful. Just give your number to the airline counter people, show your passport id and away you go. I love e-tickets. Wish that you could get them on all airlines.

CALL THE AIRLINES AND GET YOUR SEAT ASSIGNMENTS ASAP.
That's the only thing you should be worried about.

Thanks everybody!! I did call the airline and we are in the computer, whew! Did not think to ask about seat assignments, but will do that today as we have 3 kiddos that i think would rather sit with us! Thanks again. lisa

I lost my e-tickets somehow in Coz for our return flight on Continental, We just walked up to the counter and told them our names and we got new ones. I love e-tickets.

We too got our tickets through skyauction for our trip to AC this past January. Everything went great! Have used skyauction for a number of trips and have never had a problem. E-tickets were fine. Don't worry...your trip will be too!
