Exodus Water Taxi from San Pedro to Corozal and Sarteneja

Exodus Water taxi began operations on October 22, 2019. It runs opposite of the Thunderbolt schedule, meaning it leaves San Pedro at 7:00 am and returns from Corozal at 3:00 pm, stopping in Sarteneja both ways. Below is the Exodus boat, Sabrina docked in Corozal. Different from the Thunderbolt, however, Exodus utilizes the International Water Taxi Terminal in San Pedro. The Exodus staff were sitting outside as well and were easily recognizable by their shirts. I got my ticket and proceeded inside the terminal. Everyone must pay a BZD 2.00 "facility fee" - basically for washroom use. They take your ID, your name is typed on the receipt, and you're asked you to keep it available.

The boat is quite a bit smaller than the Thunderbolt. The seats are the long bench type along the wall on each side of the boat. They don't have any cushions, which is a little hard on the touche. The round trip fare is $85.00BZD. Exodus doesn't have a booth set up in Corozal Town, but it's still easy enough to buy a ticket (with ID) at the dock. The two-hour trip is just slightly shorter in length because the Exodus boat can go through the cut by the old Aquafina (now Turtle Island), which cuts off about 7 minutes from the Thunderbolt route.
