Does anyone have any suggestions or advice as to which carrier to use (departing from NC). I have been checking with AA for over two weeks and the cheapest I can find is $609. It fluxuates daily from $609/$659. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

We are leaving early January from Jacksonville, FL for 366 rt. Thought that was pretty good, better than last February's 550 rt. I know they have a few good rates out of Atlanta... may be worth the drive.
Georgia Peach, what part of GA? We are in Moultrie.
Hope to see ya'll down there.

Found the following on
One example of low-season pricing is trustworthy Capricorn Leisure Corp's latest offering to Belize. It undercuts rates that we saw in the low season of summer by a good $50, allowing vacationers to visit beautiful Amergris Caye for just $680 per person per week, including airfare from Miami. That's for full seven-night vacations beginning January 5 and going all the way through March (midweek travel only). Prices are nearly as good from Dallas/Fort Worth and a number of the other southern gateways, coming in at just $738 per person. New York and the eastern seaboard starts at $785, per person; Chicago and the Midwest $881; Los Angeles and San Francisco $942. These rates are based on double occupancy, but singles can get in the game for approximately $280 more per gateway. The price drops by a good $90 in most cases for those willing to share the cabins between three people (many have fold-out beds and sleeping lofts, so this is feasible).

Although you may not want to admit it, you probably saw Ambergris Caye on the Fox sleaze-fest Temptation Island. While the couples may have been less than attractive, Belize looked pretty sexy, her aqua waters, soft sands and bodacious sunsets filmed with loving accuracy. If you choose this package, you'll have the run of a beachfront one-bedroom condo with a fully equipped kitchen. The condos have all been newly renovated to repair the damage done in last year's hurricanes. All have thatched roofs, some have sleeping lofts and all are nice and clean. The property is about a 15-minute walk from the charming town of San Pedro. Along with a good beach, the Exotic Caye has a pool, beach bar and restaurant next door.

For more information simply call Capricorn Leisure Corp at 800/426-6544 or 516/944-8383. The offer is featured on the company's Web site ( as the special of the month.

Prices quoted here do not include taxes or surcharges.
