I had understood that US Air was going to start service to Belize in November. Does anyone have any idea if they still intend to given what is going on at the airline?

As far as we in the travel industry know, they are still planning to start flying to Belize in Nov. They haven't cancelled any service so far. But I would suggest you purchase travel insurance just to be sure. And read the fine print that the insurance company covers in case of bancruptcy - many insurance companies dropped that coverage after 9/11.

They are still advertising.

Air Jamaica was also supposed to begin service, but everytime I contact them, stock answer is "soon"

Air Jamaica has been advertising that they were starting service to Belize for years now. Still no service scheduled though!
