Hi everyone,

I am planning a long stay on A.C. but my budget is rather small. I am planning on camping ( i saw that there is a camping ground advertise on A.C. com ) Anyone tried it before? I would like to stay form mid-december to end of February. This would be my first time in A.C. ...any advise would be appreciated.

I had clients that did the camping and said it was very nice. Had the place all to themselves.

I recommend a $10 a night room.

The new place just N of the cut. Advertised on this site under lodging "camping on the beach"

I talked to Tom a few weeks ago and he told me that he was finished with camping.

That is my understanding-Tom will reopen it on demand

I stayed at Ruby's for 7 nights 2 wks ago, and the rate they gave me was $25US/night, one full one twin, private bath, no AC (but it wasn't that hot at night). They only have 2 single rooms for $12.5US/night, no bathroom, no AC. If you stay for more than a couple nights they usually give you a better deal, that's what happened to us.
