Re: question on fishing guide - 07/13/06 03:27 AM

My mistake. I took your request to Marty to mean you wanted him to do something you lacked the ability to do yourself. I see now that you just want to argue.

sorry, not in my nature to turn the other cheek, go right ahead!

Re: question on fishing guide - 07/13/06 11:44 AM

Rykat, you might have a legitimate complaint with Hillybo if your version is correct. But, you are over-reacting to the gringo comment. Armondo calls me gringo and I have watched him grow up and been a friend of the family for over 36 years. The term gringo is not necessarily derrogitory.

Re: question on fishing guide - 07/13/06 09:40 PM

Rykat, did you grow up in Northern NJ? Is that why you're so stressed? Now pretend your on the boardwalk at Point Pleasant, sipping an iced cold beer at Martel's or Jenkinson's North. Ahhhh, feel better? laugh

Re: question on fishing guide - 07/13/06 09:56 PM

LBI, I feel better! I think I might just drive on over to Jenks for a cold one right now. (less than 10 miles from my house) cool

Re: question on fishing guide - 07/13/06 10:06 PM

LBI-Is there something wrong with growing up in Northern NJ?

2miles-Have one for me smile

Re: question on fishing guide - 07/14/06 02:04 AM

No LBI grew up in Brielle can't get much less stressful than that.
bywarren: find the word and his use derogatory-read it! :p

Re: question on fishing guide - 07/14/06 02:12 AM

My thoughts as well Mowtown Girl having grown up myself in North-western Jersey. Farm country! smile

Re: question on fishing guide - 07/14/06 02:12 AM

LBI - lets see could be over there sipping that cold one at Martel's in about...6 minutes trying to remember what we did "under" the boardwalk when a little younger. hmmmmm. some good memories - great place for kids to grow up! laugh

Re: question on fishing guide - 07/14/06 02:20 AM

Re: question on fishing guide - 07/14/06 08:20 PM

Rycat, Brielle's a cool town. They still have that great little diner serving over 2 or 300 different omelets. Motown and RMT, I too grew up in Northern NJ, around the Wayne area, so i know a little bit about the personalities of people from that region. :p

Re: question on fishing guide - 07/14/06 08:33 PM

LBI-I happen to like my personality laugh RMT, what about you?

Re: question on fishing guide - 07/14/06 08:51 PM

Mowtown you seem like a lovely person to me! smile

LBI...can't judge everyone in one fell swoop. :)Spent my summer's at the Jersey Shore, lots of fun.
I grew up in Warren County, nothing like NE Jersey population ( size) wise. Now across the border in the Pocono's.
Oops...we need some discipline here...this poor guy only wanted to know about a fishing guide!! Sorry TW! smile

Re: question on fishing guide - 07/14/06 08:58 PM

Thank you , RMT smile
Sorry TW ... had to stand up for those of us from Northern NJ!

Re: question on fishing guide - 07/14/06 09:03 PM

Rhon - I'm surprised at you - lack of discipline and all! laugh

Re: question on fishing guide - 07/14/06 10:08 PM

no problem guys lol glad to see my thread could get interesting. Just so you know we used this service and Clifford and Eric were our guides and we had an awesome time. I couldnt land a big one but we did catch several and had plenty of opportunities to catch large ones but we are not very good fisherman.

Re: question on fishing guide - 07/15/06 04:22 AM

TW Glad you had a nice time and it worked out well for you! smile
Funny enough I was never a fisherman but learned to love it after going to SP.

Law!! SS IS my role model when it comes to discipline as always. I watch her...( doesn't everyone??) Hey, nice hat there SS laugh

Re: question on fishing guide - 07/15/06 05:03 AM

Rhon - we're gonna have to work on that role model choice. I'm already trying to get Ss to see the error of her ways! laugh

Re: question on fishing guide - 07/17/06 01:03 PM

just got back from europe, and read post ,personally gringo does not bother me,as I am a gringo !!! and I belive armando meant hilly bo is a local guide some one that knows the waters well ,as far as hillybo rykat says he beat him for $400 why would he lie??? hilly boo can go on the web to dispute that?? if not the truth !!And why should rykat cause trouble if was not so..the fact rykat knows a lot about how to run a business I know first hand what he does for a living and trust me this is not a money matter but one of principal.and glad to see tw had booked fishingsanpedreo.com and had a ball with clifford and eric nice guys and thats great..will try to see hilly bo again about this claim and see what he has to say?????????? ..but tw had a living the dream day fishing ..game over..
