Hello everyone,

We are arriving in AC this Friday afternoon and were hoping for a little advice on the best tours to take. We'd like to see ruins and probably at least half a day snorkeling, We're only in town for 5 nights and although we are coming down to relax I don't want to miss a thing! There are 5 of us in all. All adults (in age anyway!)

I appreciate all your help in advance!

I do not have any first hand experience of AC yet but from searching through posts I have come to the conclusion that for snorkeling most people found mexico rocks to be less crowded than hol chan reserve with about the same amount of fish and coral.

Boss Lady,
Mexico Rocks is a nice peaceful snorkle, with a good amount of fish and "pretties", but I highly recommend that you don't miss Hol Chan and Shark/Ray Alley.
Cave tubing at Jaguar Paw is a wonderful but long day.
You will find a lot of information and be able to make an easy choice when you arrive.
Safe journey!
Cheerz!

Take the trip out to snorkel at Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley. It's fun. As for other excursions, I always recommend Lamanai or Tikal. If you go to either one, you will not regret it. Also an all day Blue Hole trip is great even if you are snorkeling. On mine, I snorkelled the Blue Hole and dove the others and had a blast. There were a few on the boat that snorkelled the whole trip.

SEAductive sailing!!!

SEAduced's new cat., awesome! We took the kids out for a day sail to Caye Caulker with HC/SRA in between. Most fun we had in a long time.

$US800 for a full day charter.

SEAduced by Belize.
