A few weeks back Diver Dave posted his experiences with Aqua Marina Suites in town. I need to tell my story also. I believe we had the same exact jr.suite as you Dave. But our experiences were totally opposite. Coffee and fresh fruit out on the balcony each morning watching the sunrise. We found that the new management (Bill, Steve. Finn etc.) were extremely personable and helpful. We gave them some suggestions at the Sunday night gathering round the bar. They were appreciative listeners and even comped us dinner for our last evening there. I highly recommend trying the menu at their place:THE BLUE HOLE BAR & GRILL. The creamy shrimp soup is to die for! They know improvements are needed and in the short time there management has made several. Bill (manager) is on the go from dawn to dusk overseeing and dealing with everyone to ensure things go well. The staff is the greatest from the girls at the front desk to the young men at the bar. Very friendly and helpful. They set up two fantastic day trips through Seaduced for us with Elito the Mambo king. We met some great people at this resort. Normally we try a different place to vacation every year, but we'll probably go back to AC and will stay at the Aqua Marina again.

jude I also stayed there many ,many times. had same suite on the right side of hotel not near graveyard .. I never had a problem with staff but I am big tipper .. and never did eat lunch or dinner there as no one was ever sitting there.. this was not a good sign ??? .and will bet you ten to one that by your next trip no body you know will be there as staff changes like the wind .the restaurant cook will change or it will be closed . have been going there for a year and a half . last trip was august. this has been the case hope it changes for the best . but the uneven track record with management is a fact..
