Kite Boarding - 07/31/06 11:52 PM

Are there any instructors and/or classes on AC? I saw some people on Caye Caulker last February I believe were getting lessons. It looks like a rush. We saw somebody whilst we were having breakfast at Estelís last winter kite boarding off shore and couldnít wait to try it. Flying while still attached to earth, might as well complete the whole thing after jumping out of an airplane!

PalapaBob, unless you have surfed and are good at it, forget about it.

Good job, as deacons' not right on this one. Chris at Sailsports gets people up on the board - to varying degrees - within two lessons of three hours each I think. Afraid he's the only one who can do it though and he's in England for six weeks, with the shop open for Windsurfing and Sailing only until then. See for more info. The Caye Caulker guys are gone for slow season until November I was told the other day.

Thanks CC, I won't be on AC until February. Just looking to try something new.
