The last few days has been difficult on my skin and was wondering if there are any secrets you long time islanders may have? I looked it up on the internet and it's calls prickly heat.

I had it two years ago - one arm and chest. I was afraid it was shingles due to the pattern. Dr. Lerida prescribed a cream and I had to turn the a/c on and stay inside for 3 days.
Last year I got it and suffered through for some time and it went away after a week in the states.

Desitin (diaper rash cream) usually works well and quickly.

Thank you both for the advise. Since I can't go back to the States I'll go to Warpaint and get the Desitin.
