I thought all you divers could give me a little advice. I would like to get my husband a wrist dive computer for Christmas. We're heading down to AC after the holidays and I know he would love his own. I don't know anything about them and would appreciate some advice or some info on where I could find some reviews or rating systems for them. Thanks for your help!

I dont have a wristmount computer but i do have a dive computer that i love and you can even download you dives on your pc. My bother works for scuba pro in california. Not saying he can give a good deal but he could take care of your order if you decide to go with scuba pro after your search. They do have a very nice wrist mount computer as well. Email for more info if you like

Rodales Scuba Diving Magazine analyses gear regularly. They just did a big spread on dive computers. You can go to your library or try looking on their home web page: http://www.scubadiving.com
You don't list where you are from. I'm sure there is a dive shop nearby. They should be able to answer your questions.
On a personal note: I don't like the wrist mounted computers. I like mine attached to the tank via a hose. What ever you buy, be sure it is something you can return in case it is not what he wants. Any good dive shop will do that as long as it has not been in the water.
