Anyone know why Ramon's is now a dry hotel?
There are a few dry restaurants in town too. I don't believe (but might be wrong) they mind if you buy alcohol and drink it on site- they just don't want to serve it.
No it is not dry. Its new bar is not complete yet though.
Amanda, something they should tell their guests and agents about before they book. Jeez! How do you not think that is important to people on holiday?
I just spoke the manager and he confirmed that the bar is actually open today. He says the not serving alcohol thing is a rumour and guests are, indeed, being served drinks.
What would this town be without juicy rumours?
Ramons dry? that will be a cold day in hell. Phil, God knows but it's your call
that rumor was initially started/promulgated several months ago by the proprietor of a certain low-priced lodging establishment.
Yep ! That low bred, scum suckin, muck face..... Who ?
Not only a Low priced hotel accomodation but now an additional upmarket beach location so I hear.
Nice beachfront hotel too
It was true late last week thru over the weekend. Owner decided to stop selling liquor and then rescinded. I had clients booked in who complained to me. Then was confirmed to me by their office on property last Friday and office in the US yesterday, just after I posted this. Dry hotel? what were they thinking?
