OK I know this has been asked before so humor me. What are the current rules for bringing liquor from home, US Duty Free and BZE Duty Free? We have a lot of first timers coming to the island soon and they're asking.
Thanks for the help!
Gary
According to this site...
http://www.customs.gov.bz/exemptions.html"Wines or spirits not exceeding one litre in all" are exempt from duties & taxes. I assume that's what you carry with you from wherever you're coming from.
On this Trip Advisor thread, the duty-free subject is discussed (buying duty-free at Belize airport)...

Your best bet is to purchase liquor at the incoming duty free store at Belize International before you go through customs. You are allowed 4 bottles per person.........best prices anywhere.
Well my friends have somewhat exotic tastes and I'm sure that what they want isn't in BZE Duty Free (Fireball and something called Tequila Rose). I'm trying to convince them that there are plenty of tasty beverages in San Pedro.
I know for sure that they carry all of the high end brands.....don't know about Fireball & Tequila Rose......they do have a great selection. Better than most duty free stores in the US airports.
Actually six bottles if 750ml. It's 4.5 litres per person. If brand specific unusual stuff is required best buy it US as their inventory is based on the more common higher end brands.
Thanks everyone for the information. See y'all soon!
