We are looking into buying a condo on Ambergris Caye in the near future. I was on a couple of websites looking at the condos and the price has come down on them. Does anyone know why, are they over building or is something happening there that I am not aware of. We are visiting next July 2016, hope its not to hot. By the way I am new on this site.

The global economy affects us too. We are seeing rapid development again so that tends to keep prices at bay. On average you are looking at around $300K or so for a condo on the beach. There are many variables in price depending on location, level of finishes etc.

You will have plenty to see when you visit next year.

Thank You Amanda for your quick response. We were there in January of this year. To me the prices have gone down in the last 6mo. I thought maybe there was something other than the economy.
