good hotels for children

Does any one know what hotel would be best for a family with a 9 year old boy. He needs play mates his age. Speaks English and Spanish.

Most of the condotels on the island get quite a few families. Villas at Banyan Bay is one of the best choices for families.

the locals are very nice, and friendly. he will do well if he is willing to befriend the local kids.

i will be taking mine in june (7 & 5), staying at a condo, the palms. that way kitchen & snacks are always available.

I think one of the best places on the island for kids to meet other kids is the Tides Beach Resort. It is on the N end of town by the HS so close to the more residential section of the island. Plus the owners have 4 kids of various ages! Brianna's Beach House is in the same neighborhood. Mayan Princess is a good local kid meeting place too. Of course the condo-tels like Banayan Bay, Banana Beach and The Palms are good for meeting other tourist kids, and they have pools.
