Anyone snorkelled at shark alley ? Is their quite of fish and coral? Or is there better places close by?

The nurse sharks and the rays are very cool, but I wasn't too impressed with the coral.

I don't think there is any coral at Shark/Ray alley. It is just a sandy-bottomed area. However, usually with the Shark/Ray Alley snorkel, you get the Hol Chan snorkel too and that is quite nice.

Thanks folks for the information. Just looking for a good spot to go for a snorkelling day trip. Any other suggestions?

YOur day trip to shark ray alley will always include a stop where there is coral. Not to worry.

Take a boat to Caye Caulker for lunch and snorkel along the way & Back!
Mexico Rocks & Tres Cocos are some of my favorite snorkel spots.

hol chan has incredible coral.
