I was told that conch season ended at the beginning of August. So when does the seasons begin and end for conch and lobster?

The seasons stagger for each item, BUT, the last two weeks in June are the only time that lobster season and conch season overlap. I plan my vacations around that time so I can enjoy the best of both worlds.

There is NO closed season
where it is permitted to eat frozen lobster but not fresh, the closed season from February 15th-June 15th
means no lobster eating or stocking of lobster of any kind!

I concur. The best lobster meal is at Papi's. Great price and lots of veggies. I love my veggies, and not many places serve veggies. (except for salads.... but Sweet Basils's is the best place for a salad.) YUM!

the dates are
Lobster July 15-February 15
conch September 30-July 1st
and shrimp doesn't really have a season but very hard to get from June-August
