And while we're accustomed to seeing Sergeant Yearwood as he was just now, speaking for the Police Department - dig back into your memory to December of 2008 when he was bedridden with diabetes - some even said he was close to death.
It became news because Yearwood was supposed to testify in a major murder trial as a police witness, but he did not because of his illness.
