Belize Weather Forecast: September 16, 2015

General Situation:
Ambergris Caye: Conditions this morning by Elbert just before or after this post!
Belize NMS: Mainly fair and warm weather conditions will continue over most areas the next couple days.
Advisories: None.
24-hour forecast: Mostly sunny and warm today with isolated showers or thunderstorms. Partly cloudy tonight and mostly sunny and warm tomororw. Showers or thunderstorms will be isolated, and will occur mainly over the extreme south tonight and inland tomorrow afternoon.
Winds: East 5-15 knots.
Marine Forecast:
Today: Winds: East 5-15 kts.; seas: Light chop - choppy.; waves: 2-4 ft.; showers and thunderstorms in the south decreasing.
Tomorrow: Winds: East 5-15 kts.; seas: Light chop - choppy.; waves: 2-4 ft.; isolated showers or thunderstorms.
Marine Outlook: Thursday night:- Winds: East 5-15 kts.; seas: Choppy.; waves: 3-5 ft.; a few showers and isolated thunderstorms mostly south.
Sea Surface Temp (°F): 85
General Outlook: For Thursday and Thursday night is for similar weather conditions to prevail.

Tropical Weather Outlook: A well defined low pressure system located about mid-way between the Cape Verde Islands and the Lesser Antilles has a medium chance of developing into a tropical depression during the next couple of days as it moves northwestward about 10 mph. Also, a broad area of low pressure about 300 miles SSW of the Cape Verde islands also has a medium chance of development during the next couple of days as it moves west-northwest at 10 to 15 mph.

From Belmopan...

The high north winds with large areas of cloud swept down over Honduras last night and during the early hours, formed swell-ups as it crossed the coast. These swell-ups moved along the coast towards Belize and then up the Belize coast, bringing significant rain to much of Toledo and Stann Creek areas. There is or was Invest 94L sort of developing in the Gulf, but they no longer recognise that.

I expect today to be mainly sunny after the rain down south has cleared, then white clouds building later, could still be some rain later.

Today is probably going to be Similar, to yesterday : Tue, max 34°C 92°F Last night min 25°C 78°F ( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler )
