General Situation:
Belize NMS: High pressure influence maintains a cool northerly airflow. Relatively cool conditions expected during the next few days.
Advisories: *Small Craft Warning in effect for gusty winds and rough seas.*
24-hour forecast: Variably cloudy and cool with little or no rainfall, except for a few periods of light rain along the south coast.
Winds: North 10-20 knots with occasional higher gusts.

Today: Winds: N-NE 10-20 kts. With occasional higher gusts.; seas: Moderate - locally rough.; waves: 4-7 ft.; a few periods of light rain mostly south.
Tomorrow: Winds: NE'ly 10-20 kts.; seas: Choppy - moderate.; waves: 3-6 ft.; a few showers or periods of light rain mostly south.
Marine Outlook: Friday night:- Winds: N-NE 10-20 kt with occasional higher gusts.; seas: Moderate - rough.; waves: 5-7 ft.; little or no rainfall.

General Outlook: For Sat. and Sat. night is for variably cloudy and cool conditions with a few showers or periods of light rain mostly over southern and along some coastal areas.
Tropical Weather Outlook: Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 48 hours in the North Atlantic, the Caribbean Sea or Gulf of Mexico.

Caribbean Forecast: The remnants of a cold frontal boundary will extend across the western Pacific, the Caribbean Sea, Central America and southern Mexico. Showers and isolated thunderstorms will be possible across the southern half of Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, western Panama, eastern Cuba, Haiti, the Dominican Republic and the southern tier of The Bahamas. Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, is forecast to receive between 5 to 10 millimeters of rain with a high of 82(F)/ 27(C). San Pedro Sula, Honduras, is expected to receive between 10 to 15 millimeters of rain with a high of 73(F)/ 22(C). Northern Mexico will stay clear of wet weather as high pressure builds over the southern United States. Hermosillo, Mexico, will be sunny with a high of 95(F)/ 35(C).
