Belize NMS: Moist and relatively unstable conditions persist behind the tropical wave... A drying trend is expected during the next 24 to 48 hours.
Advisories: *Small craft caution for gusty winds and occasionally rough seas. There is the likelihood of localized flooding over low-lying areas.*
24-hour forecast: Mostly cloudy, with sunny breaks this afternoon. Some showers, periods of rain and a few thunderstorms will continue mainly over northern and central areas, decreasing this afternoon. Then, a few showers or periods of light rain will occur mainly over the south tonight.

General Outlook: For Friday and Friday night is for a return to mainly fair and warm weather.
Daily Tropical Weather Outlook: At 3:00am Tropical Storm Debby was centered near latitude 43.6N, longitude 45.1W, or about 1020 miles WNW of the Azores. Debby was moving to the NE at 17mph with maximum sustained winds of 45mph. The monsoon trough in the SW Caribbean supports scattered moderate convection south of 10N and west of 80W. This pattern will continue through the week. The next tropical wave is forecast to reach the waters east of the Lesser Antilles by early Friday, and move across these islands this weekend.

From Belmopan...

Many swellups over the Yucatan this morning, particularly northern Belize, causing a lot of rain, mainly in the north. That is easing up, the Caribbean wind is from the ESE so that is the direction the rain is moving in, the high level movements are influenced by the swellups, so are varied, but generally from the south.

Looks like today will again be mainly cloudy, most rain in the north areas, some developing along the southern coast.
