From Thursday to Friday day, drastic changes are predicted in weather conditions over the states of the Yucatn Peninsula caused by the arrival of the 36 cold front associated with extensive polar air mass.

In advance of the region, a marked decline in temperatures, very heavy rain and dangerous surge with wind gusts of up to 80 km / hour in coastal areas.

So people and maritime boats are urged to extreme precautions.

The Caribbean winds are still being diverted up northwards, at least out at sea. Not much air movement over land, so there is morning fog, but the high level is coming up from the south. Not clear yet, if another cool air bubble moving our way or not, it is in the Gulf.

Temperatures in Belmopan : ( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler )
Last Night 23°C 74°F Yesterday 31°C 87°F Yesterday Rain 0 mm ( 0")

The cool air is trying to push down, but very slow, but it has stopped the Caribbean wind. The high level from the SW is causing sone serious clashing and probably rain over the mountains, western Toledo and southern Cayo districts I suspect. There is certainly lightning over the mountains.
