...LARGE LARRY CONTINUES MOVING NORTHWESTWARD WITH NO CHANGE IN STRENGTH ...DANGEROUS SWELLS TO AFFECT MUCH OF THE WESTERN ATLANTIC BEACHES THIS WEEK...

At 5 a.m. AST, the center of Hurricane Larry was located over the Atlantic Ocean about 605 miles (970 km) southeast of Bermuda. Larry is moving toward the northwest near 10 mph (17 km/h), and this general motion is expected to continue through today. A turn toward the north-northwest and north with an increase in forward speed is forecast on Thursday. A faster northeastward motion is expected by Friday. On the forecast track, the center of Larry should pass east of Bermuda on Thursday.

Swells generated by Larry will continue to affect the Leeward Islands, portions of the Greater Antilles, and the Bahamas through midweek, and impact Bermuda through the end of the week Significant swells from Larry will begin reaching the east coast of the United States and Atlantic Canada today and continue affecting these shores through the end of the week. These swells are likely to cause life-threatening surf and rip current conditions.

A lot of high level NW cloud clashing with easterly low level in our area, still causing quite a few ITCZ areas over the Yucatan and several small swellups near PG, yet I don't see much rain within Belize.

Looks as if today will be a mixes sunshine and cloudy day, with a possibility of some rain, particularly in the south.

No rain on the radar

Last Night 26°C 79°F Yesterday max. 32°C 90°F Yesterday Rain 0 mm ( 0") Over Night Rain 0 mm ( 0" )
