TEMPERATURES

My wife and I expect to be in Belize Dec. 26 aboard the Rhapsody of the Seas (Royal Caribbean Cruise lines). I have arranged to go diving at Turneffe atoll through the cruise line but would prefer alternate arrangements. Can anyone tell me what to expect with regard to water temperatures, exposure gear suggested?

Warm!! Very Warm!!

79-81 F. Full 3mm optimum, but you would probably be OK with a shorty.

But a big mane.

Turneffe is awesome. Even if a person only snorkels, they will find some of the most incredible sights. Yur choice of an activity is excellent. The islands that make up the are amazing too - you will love this adventure !! In December the shallower water is about 80 degrees farenheight - for those of us who live here this is considered "cold". I guess it's all a question of what you are used to.

When I dove there I wore a shorty, and was alittle cool. Suggest a full 3mm to be toasty warm and carefree. YOU WILL LOVE IT! Lighthouse is another WICKED good dive..awesome wall!
