Actually, 2 blocks west and 2 blocks south.

...or four blocks southwest?

actually, Pythagoras Theorem asserts that to determine the unknown side (hypotenuse) of a right triangle with short sides of length a (2 blocks) and b (2 blocks), the hypotenuse (c) would calculate as follows;

a (squared) + b (squared) = c (squared)
2 (squared) + 2 (squared) = c (squared)
4 + 4 = 8
c (square root of 8) = 2.828 blocks southwest

bunch of squares........

incidentally, it should be pointed out that toad was correct.

assuming toad is right, then the earth must be flat.
Posted By: dbdoberman Re: San Pedro Sun - 04/27/04 12:39 PM
then there is a possibility that cruise ships will fall over the edge?

Thanks to all who posted replies, I enjoyed them all. Some of you are so nuts but that is what makes you special.
Tuki Tuki will just have to be patient about The Sun coming back up, but it is sooooo dark without it.
Until we meet again, Tuki Tuki.
