The heat wave continues across the US. Today in MD it hit 100 degrees with a heat index of 110. Wish we had the Caribbean breezes.

I hear you Artz. It's hotter than the hinges of Hell here. It is 104 today, and with the heat index, is 115-120. Once it gets to "sweat like a pig" temperature, anything more is just fluff. Have Buffett tickets for tomorrow and it will be 105 without the heat index....always the hottest day of the year when he comes to town. Take the heat, lots of alcohol and weed, and people turn into crazies..all trying to catch a glimpse of living the dream! Stay cool!!

I was thinking about hopping on a plane to escape the heat(97) here in Dayton Oh.
The Water Park has been packed & the water temp. is 88 YUK!!

The thermometer in the car yesterday register the outside temp at 106. Today it's a cool 100. A cold front expected on Saturday. It's only going to be 86 degrees, just in time for my high school reunion.

We have a heat/ac co. here in the Pocono's and I cannot begin to tell you the volume of calls we are getting. Supposed to get some relief on Saturday hopefully....

I want to be in the Houston your in Sue! In my part of Houston (Spring) it is HOTTER THAN HELL! When was it 89? During that rain storm yesterday? What was it about 20 min after it stopped raining and the sun came out? I think it was put-me-on-a-plane-there-should-be-sand-under-my-feet it's so da$m hot. .......laugh....

Yesterday the water temperature in my neighbors swimming pool was 91 degrees F., so he called up the local ice house and had them deliver ten, 100# blocks to cool the water down. By this morning it had cooled all the way down to 84.

Tempertures dropped some here in MD. It's now between 85-90 degrees. I went to my high school reunion Saturday night and all these old people were there. Hmmmmmmm.............
