Global warming has been blamed for significant damage to a large portion of the reef and to the mangroves. Guess any "risk" depends on whether you believe there is such a thing as global warming.

The only danger in global warming is the religious dedication most people have in the hoax.

Doubt that many on this board will be around in 2050 to see the front porch at Cholo's in 4" of water at high tide.

4" of water over 4' of BS...yah Cholo's will still have its ever present charm.

LA "Guess any "risk" depends on whether you believe there is such a thing as global warming." There may or may not be global warming. The question could also be what effect if any does man has on influencing global temperature.

Gee ragman, ever thought about emissions of heat-trapping gases? Methinks "man" had something to do with that....

Re: global warming at AC - 08/29/08 01:17 PM
nova, "ever thought about emissions of heat-trapping gases?" It is a question of cause and effect. Does higher temps cause more heat trapping gasses or do the gasses cause higher temps. That is how I understand that part of the argument. Put together with common sense that the earth has heated and cooled before man had any influence on it. Cause may be the earth slightly closer to the sun or sun spots??? your gang was saying that we where entering an Ice Age a few years back. What happened to that?
I would like to know the answers before we make drastic changes in the way we do business and more study in a non histerical way is needed.
