Upon entry into Belize, many passengers will be surprised to notice that we do not have covered jet ways into our airport. Once you have landed, you will be directed to exit the aircraft onto an outdoor staircase. If you will need assistance, please inform your flight crew.

Once you have exited the aircraft, you will be guided by the ground crew to the immigration hall, where you will show your passport and get your entry stamp. While waiting in the hall, you can view our billboard with our meet and greet agents on your left hand side.

After you clear Immigration, you will proceed to the luggage carousel, and have an opportunity to purchase duty free items. Once you have collected your luggage, proceed through customs. Be sure to go to the ‘declare’ line if you have purchased in the duty free shops.

When you have exited Customs, you will then walk through a short hall, and enter the arrivals area of the airport.
Your local airline agents will then assist you to the ticket counter, and can help answer any questions you might have.

If you are meeting other transportation, then proceed to the outside of the airport where folks can drive up and pick you up, or you can rent a car, or meet other transportation options.
