Belize & Ambergris Caye Help

I want to buy good compost and black dirt. I live on Ambergris Caye. Please advice how I can get some shipped in.

It can be shipped via a barge from the Port Authority on the south side of town. I have beautiful black dirt, but you’d need to come here, check it out then conduct the transfer!

Lady Bug used to have compost that was dug on the north end of the island.... but what lady bug sold me was horrible! I’ll never go back. Kathy sold the business but she said that a fellow named Damien should still be there and he knows where it is up north...

"Dirt" from the N. end of the island is too alkaline because of the sand in it. Plants want acid soil. It must be obtained from the mainland. Contact Pandora Canton, she has a huge nursery on the mainland and she is on FB. I have had dealings with her for over 10 years and all has been more tha satisfactory.

You can call 6104675, Jose is the guy name his soil is with manure and black soil. Or Contact Orlando Harrison in San-Ignacio. Or Belize Soils.
