Age limit for driving

Underage Drivers, It is an offense for anyone under the age of 17 to drive any vehicle on the island, if a person under the legal age is caught driving, the vehicle will be impounded and both the driver and the owner or renter will be ticketed for the offense.

Not only is this illegal it is extremely dangerous for all road users.

Many new traffic signs have been installed in town to help both visitors and locals. We remind people that it is an offense to ignore traffic signs, it is also an offense to damage, move or alter a traffic sign. Please respect the signs and make our streets safer for all.
