Do people in Belize now have access to Skype or is it still blocked?

The block on Skype was lifted some time ago. Skype works fine here, although messaging vis Skype (which requires very little band width) works better than audio. We at a fairly remote location we do not use the video option which does need a lot of bandwidth.

I use Viber to make long distance calls - works well with my "nominal" 1gig connection.

It is available but for many of us we dont have enough bandwidth. i can do google hangout calls, which is a video call..

I use viber but both wifi connections must be pretty hot or it is prone to digital breakups and echoes.
They also mine everyone in your contacts list

Others use magicjack and also make calls on Messenger.....works fine most of the time..
