It is the resonsibilty of the owner of a vehicle that has become derelict or abandoned to remove that vehicle from the island. Any vahicle that is on the island must pay the ACCT license every year, even if the vehicle is no longer being used, until that vehicle is removed from the island. The SPTD will be on the look out for derelict vehicles and ticketing those vehicles that are not licensed. If the SPTC has to remove a vehicle from the island,The owner will be liable for a removal fee of $500, and could have their permit revoked.
